Each summer, The Lambing Shed Farm Shop & Café in Knutsford transforms part of its barn into The Beach, providing families all the fun of the seaside without leaving Cheshire. With a huge indoor sandpit, plenty of seating for parents and a brand-new café, it’s the perfect place for little ones to play, whatever the weather. Whether you’re escaping a rainy day or looking for somewhere cool and shaded on a hot afternoon, this easy and reasonably priced summer attraction is well worth a visit.

**A Giant Indoor Sandpit for Hours of Play**

Simply purchase your wristband from the main café and your little ones can enjoy unlimited play throughout the day. The huge indoor sandpit provides plenty of space to dig, build sandcastles and let their imaginations run wild. Sand toys are provided with plenty of buckets, spades, diggers and sieves. Around the edge of the sandpit you’ll find other things to keep children entertained, a chalkboard, Connect Four and children’s picnic tables with crayons and paper. There are also plenty of deckchairs for parents to relax while keeping an eye on the fun. For younger visitors, a separate smaller sandpit gives babies and toddlers their own quieter space to enjoy their first sandy adventures away from the older children.

**Brand-New Café Makes It Even Better**

One of the biggest additions this year is the brand-new café, built within the last couple of months. It has completely transformed the space, offering families somewhere convenient to grab lunch, coffee and cold drinks without leaving the beach area.

It also acts as a handy takeaway kiosk, making it ideal if you’re popping into the farm shop or stopping during a bike ride and fancy a quick refreshment without heading into the main café.
