In our village, we eagerly anticipate our two primary craft and gift showcases: the upcoming village fair and the festive Christmas market. These events are not just a delight for those with a knack for unique, handmade treasures, but also a vibrant platform for local artisans to present their crafts. The idea of additional markets throughout the year has always been appealing, and it’s exciting to announce a new gift fair scheduled for June!

Organised by Claire Lloyd from JDL Mini Markets and Events, this fair promises to be a special addition to our community events. With years of experience orchestrating successful markets across Cheshire, Claire is now set to grace the Holmes Chapel Community Centre with her expertise. Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 2nd, from 11 AM to 3 PM, and prepare for an enchanting shopping experience.

Let’s hear more from Claire about what we can expect.

“Hi I’m Claire Lloyd & I’m the proud owner of JDL Mini Markets & Events. We organise Family markets & events in the Cheshire & Staffordshire area to support local businesses & communities.

The markets are ran by Claire Lloyd, who set up JDL Mini Markets 3 years ago. The popularity of these markets has quickly grown, and JDL can be found at various local events and locations around the area. This however is the first market they have ran in Holmes Chapel.

They are so excited to have been asked by Holmes Chapel Community Centre to bring their event to the beautiful village of Holmes Chapel & can’t wait to show the community what JDL is all about.

Owner of JDL Claire Lloyd said ‘The idea behind these family markets are to bring the best local artisan makers & creators from the local area together, whilst wrapping them in family fun. You will always find lots to do for all the family at our events.

Some of the local traders who will be present on Sunday the 2nd of June include Oh So Rosey, Arch Crafts to name a few.

If you are a local business wanting to gain exposure in your local community…get in touch as we have a couple of spaces left at this amazing venue.

There will be magic, a balloon modeller, a facepainter, providing activities for children as well as some dedicated children stalls.

The owner Claire Lloyd is keen for JDL markets to bring the already buzzing community together and offer them a great shopping experience, mixed with some family fun, whilst also supporting local businesses.

JDL invite the community of Holmes Chapel to join them on Sunday 2nd June to enjoy a day of fun for all the family. There is something for absolutely everyone.

For further details follow them on social media at JDL Mini Markets & Events or visit the JDL website at jdlminimarkets.co.uk”.

All information accurate as of June 2024.
